Response from grand daughter Delores Carpenter when queried about the names on her granparents monuments in Prospect: "These are my grandparents....The names on the headstone were done by two of the aunts of really didnt know the correct names....My grandmother was Myantha Matilda Melton Waldron....My grandfather called her Antha and they assumed is was short for Amantha....My grandfather was James Jethro Waldron but called Jess so they assumed his name was Jesse....We just haven't had anything done to correct the headstone."
